Varun Krovi leverages his 15+ years of experience in policy and advocacy to lead the Center for AI Safety Action Fund. Previously a Chief of Staff on Capitol Hill, he played a key role in shaping the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) and the CHIPS and Science Act.
Brian McGrail
Policy Lead & Senior Counsel
Brian McGrail directs policy for CAIS AF. He previously served as Senior Advisor to the Deputy Secretary of Commerce, clerked for two federal judges, and litigated in the private sector. Brian graduated from Yale Law School (Truman Scholar), Oxford University (Rhodes Scholar), and Williams College.
